Validation
Test Equipment
The test equipment used by Wardall Engineering conforms to the specifications laid down in HTM2010, HTM2030 and HTM0105 standards. All test equipment items are calibrated and certificated regularly to UKAS traceable standards. Where required, engineers use the latest data logging equipment combined with professional report writing software capable of producing reports both in hard copy form and/or PDF format.
Validations types provided
1. Quarterly and annual validation to HTM2010 and HTM0105 for:
a. Bench top sterilizers Non-vacuum (N type), vacuum (S type and B type).
b. Porous load sterilizers.
c. Laboratory autoclaves.
2. Quarterly and annual validations to HTM2030 for:
a. Bedpan washers.
b. Instrument washer.
c. Ultrasonic washer.
3. Other tests available
a. Sterilizer steam quality testing to HTM2010
Protocols
Our validation protocols and schedules have been written to compliment our service and planned preventive maintenance schedules. These protocols lay out specific tests for each level of validation and for each type of sterilizer. All are based on manufacturers recommendations with the highest level been fully conformant to HTM standards.
